IEC Begins Shipping Sionex Products to Partners
WALTHAM, Mass., - Sionex Corporation, a high technology company focused on commercializing breakthrough chemical sensor chips and systems based on its proprietary microDMx™ detection technology, today announced that contract manufacturing service provider, IEC Electronic Corp. (IECE.OB), has begun shipping microDMx-based products to Sionex partners. IEC, which has a 300,000 square foot manufacturing facility in up-state New York, was selected by Sionex to manufacture all of Sionex's commercial products.

The new Varian CP-4900 Differential Mobility Detector (DMD) was released yesterday at the Pittcon 2004 conference in Chicago, Illinois.
