Sionex Receives Innovation Award from Frost & Sullivan
BEDFORD, Mass., April 21, 2010 - Sionex Corporation is very pleased to announce that Frost and Sullivan have awarded the Sionex microAnalzyer with the North American Spectroscopy New Product Innovation Award for 2010. The microAnalzyer is a trace chemical detector that employs Differential Mobility Spectroscopy (DMS) as its core technology. The microAnalyzer is an extremely sensitive trace chemical detector with detection down to sub parts per trillion and it is about 4 or 5 orders of magnitude more sensitive than the existing solutions. Sionex’s microAnalyzer, a vapor analyzer comprises an ambient air sampling system, pre-concentrator, gas chromatographic separation module and the microDMx detection system. The integrated sensing platform offers the users a laboratory grade detection which outperforms the expensive floor mounted units.
